A Good Day to Write

After a wonderful week of spring sunshine which saw me hill-walking in the Wicklow Mountains and out gardening on the side of Bray Head, it was cold and grey and rainy today. Perfect for lighting fires and writing! I am well into Act III of the script for The Celtic Princess (back to the old title). Did I mention I was commissioned to write the first draft of the feature film? It all rests on me. If my script is good enough we move another step closer to the real thing. Got a great boost of encouragement from a friend of mine, script supervisor on The Tudors and the upcoming Camelot. She has offered to read my script! Now that's a friend worth her weight in gold.

Nice blog, posts, works! Will be glad to follow you! It seems i could learn a lot from you! And I'll use the opportunity to make a suggestion: do you use sites like zazzle.com, cafepress. com, fiverr? They could be a good way to promote your works and to help "remove" stupidity in the streets like headlines on t-shirts, fridge-magnets, cups, etc: My Boyfriend kisses Better Than Yours, FBI - female body inspector, etc. Not everything we see and think of should be about sex, right? It would be much better if there were more nice pictures (even of mythical creatures), good thoughts, poems (from any genre are welcome I guess), etc? I'm allanbard there, I use some of my illustrations, thoughts, poems from my books (like: One can fight money only with money, Even in the hottest fire there's a bit of water, or Love and happiness will be around,
as all the chains will disappear,
and Mountaineers will climb their mount
and there won't be any tear!
etc). Best wishes! Let the wonderful noise of the sea always sounds in your ears! (a greeting of the water dragons' hunters - my Tale Of The Rock Pieces).

Hmm, I have to admit I like fridge magnets. My favourite two at the moment are from India - a mini sculpture of the puja at the ghats in Varanasi and a temple relief where the god has a beautiful tiny nose. :)

Can't wait till your home, Pat, but OMG I was so out of shape. Took me a week to recover. I've started to exercise every day - pilates, yoga, skipping, weights, and hoola hoop, so the next walk should be easier. (Hope burns eternal.)
