Dream Poster

Here's one of the things I am looking forward to this year: publication of the American edition of The Book of Dreams. It will be interesting to see how it is received in the United States as events take place chiefly in Canada (as well as Faerie and Ireland). The three main characters of the first three books are featured - all older now - Dana, Gwen, and Laurel - plus a new gorgeous young man and a cast of thousands. This is the poster which my darling publishers have printed to celebrate the final book and the series as a whole. Sorry for glare, but it's full colour and glossy, so this is the best shot I could get of it. I'm utterly thrilled as I have always wanted a big poster and here is a dream come true thanks to The Book of Dreams! (Coincidence? We all know the party line on that ...)

I have one of those posters! It's going on my wall in my classroom soon.

If I have any influence, it will be well received, at least in my little corner of the world. My friend and I love your books and can't wait to have Book of Dreams. I bought a set of the first three for my classroom and plan to press them upon anyone who'll listen :)

Your blog looked lonely, so I thought I'd leave a comment letting you know you have at least one other random lurker (from America, at that).

As an American, I gotta say, I'm desperately awaiting the American release--and have no problem relating to all things Canadian, though don't take me as a good sampling of the norm--I live in Alaska. To 90% of my country, maybe less, post that whole Palin VP thing, I AM Canadian.

Now, to attempt to hunt out that awesome poster on Amazon or E-bay... er, for my mother's classroom. Yeaaaah.

Thanks random blurker (blog lurker)! But not to worry. My stats say I have lots of visitors, albeit silent ones. Oh and ask your local bookstore to request posters from the Abrams rep. They are free.
