The Eagle Has Landed

Yes, she's out at last and moving into bookstores across America: THE BOOK OF DREAMS, the fourth and final instalment of the Chronicles of Faerie. Must say, given these recession times, it's a bargoon at $20.00, a hardcover of 700 pages with a beautiful cover. Like the other three books in the series, The Book of Dreams is a stand alone and you could actually read this one first and then the other three like prequels. That said, I must point out - and I don't know quite how I managed it, will I call myself a genius? - but the four books are interlocking and, indeed, one leads into the next with the final book being the direct result of what happened in the other three YET they still stand alone and can be read in any order. Yeah, okay, I'm calling myself a genius. Now there is another issue surrounding these books - the Canadian/American one - which I have not discussed in order to avoid spoilers for my American readers. I promise to address this subject at the end of the year when the book has had a good run in the United States. If I forget, you can remind me.

I really like the cover on this! I have the 4-in-1 book, so it is before the rewrites. I will have to buy the new books at some point and time and see what has changed!

Yes!! I must get my hands on this soon!

You ARE a genius :)- I read the Summer King first (bc I discovered that one first) and until last November thought it was the first in the series.

Can't wait to read the new one!

I got mine in the mail and I'm just waiting for exams to be over and then I'll read it...but there's an issue between the Canadian one (which I also have) and the American one? Really? What is it? Could you e-mail me directly and let me know?

Oh, and I think that you are a genius because you wrote four books that really could be read in any order--in fact I think that I read 'Book of Dreams' first. ^_^

I'm a little mad at my library at the moment tough...I checked about oh, twenty times last month, and summer king is the only one of your books they have! *sound of Anya dying slowly...* Anyhoo, sorry this took so long, and congrats!

Thanks everyone! And, Anya, ask your library to buy the others. You could point out that they only have one of a series and forget to mention the books can stand alone (evil laugh).
